Established in the year 2000, Slaters Chartered Accountants is a friendly firm based on traditional values.

Stephen Slater qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 prior to becoming a partner in a local firm of accountants for several years. He continued his studies becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1995.

Having taken the decision to head his own firm, this commenced with the acquisition of AGB Smith & Son in 2000. The subsequent acquisition of several other local practices means that the firm has been serving the business community for over 60 years.

Slaters Chartered Accountants operate from offices in Chesterton, on the outskirts of Newcastle-under-Lyme, conveniently situated for easy access from the A500 and A34, and with on-site parking for our clients.

Our personable and friendly team of people are chosen for their ability, experience and willingness and desire to help. We allocate a specifically chosen selection of staff to work on our client’s affairs, depending upon each client’s requirements.

These same people are involved with the same clients year after year, providing us with an in-depth knowledge of your business and circumstances.
